STARKVILLE, Miss. - A trio of Mississippi State volleyball matches will be televised this fall, all part of an 18-match lineup of televised SEC volleyball matches for 2012 announced Wednesday by the Southeastern Conference.

MSU 's matches against SEC newcomers Texas A&M (Oct. 7, 3 p.m., SportSouth) and Missouri (Oct. 14, 12 p.m., ESPNU) will be televised, as will MSU's second meeting of the season with LSU (Oct. 28, 1 p.m., Comcast). State notched a 3-1 record in four televised matches last fall, with three of those TV matches decided in five sets.

Coach Jenny Hazelwood's fourth Mississippi State volleyball edition, featuring returning starters Chanelle Baker, Paris Perret and 2011 SEC All-Freshman Team selection Lainey Wyman, begins preseason practice August 8 at the Newell-Grissom Building. The Bulldogs open their 38th season of volleyball August 24-25, hosting Jackson State, ULM and Kennessaw State in the MSU Maroon Classic.
