Homan Finishes Play At 106th Southern Amateur Championship

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Mississippi State men's golf coach Clay Homan wrapped action at the prestigious 106th Southern Amateur Championship in Little Rock Saturday.
The Fulton, Miss., native fired an eight-over par 80 for the fourth round at Chenal Country Club. He had a strong finish to the championship, playing his final nine holes at even par.
The 10th-year Bulldog head coach finished the tournament in 74th place with a 310 total score. He advanced to the championship after winning a second-straight Mississippi state amateur championship last month.
