Homan Wraps Round Three At Southern Amateur Championship

Little Rock, Ark. - Mississippi State men's golf coach Clay Homan continued his run at the 106th Southern Amateur Championship on Friday after battling to make the cut on a rainy Thursday afternoon at Chenal Country Club.
The 10th year Bulldog coach, who qualified after winning his second-straight Mississippi state amateur title last month, fired a 9-over par 81 Friday to sit in 73rd (230) for the championship.
The final round will be played Saturday, with Homan teeing off at 9:20 a.m.
