Follow The Football Team LIVE At SEC Media Days
Starkville, Miss. - Mississippi State football fans will have several different ways of following the team this Wednesday, July 18, as Head Coach Dan Mullen and a selected group of Bulldogs attend Southeastern Conference Media Days at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala. Mullen, junior offensive lineman Gabe Jackson, junior quarterback Tyler Russell and senior defensive back Johnthan Banks will appear at session three Wednesday from 8:30-11:20 a.m.
Mullen's half an hour in the print room from 9:40-10:20 a.m. is scheduled to be aired live by ESPNU, ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app on your smart phone or tablet. Additionally, all three platforms will cover the Bulldogs' day in Birmingham with intermittent coverage from the end of Mullen's press conference until 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The SEC website will carry live-streamed 10-minute interviews with of all four of MSU's participants; starting with Mullen at 8:30 a.m. Jackson will follow at 8:40 a.m., with Russell going at 9:10 a.m. Banks will wrap things up with an 11 a.m. appearance on the website.
Fans using Twitter can follow the Maroon and White throughout the proceedings, starting first with the official football Twitter account, @mStateFB, and Dan Mullen's official account, @CoachDanMullen. Bob Carskadon of HailStateBeat will be on hand to cover the event live at @BobCarskadon, and will have extensive coverage later in the day at HailState.com/HailStateBEAT. For fans interested in Tyler Russell's day, SEC Digital Media Director Erin SanInocencio (@ErinSan) will be following the MSU quarterback from room to room, tweeting the signal caller's progress throughout the rotation. After the rotation is over, Eric will post do a photo gallery of Russell's travels on SEC website with a recap of the networks/stations the junior spoke with.
