Four Diamond Dogs Earn All-Tournament Team Honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Mississippi State placed four players on the all-tournament team of the 2012 NCAA Tallahassee Regional tournament held over the weekend at FSU's Dick Howser Stadium.

Freshman first baseman Wes Rea, freshman second baseman Matthew Britton, sophomore shortstop Adam Frazier and junior catcher Mitch Slauter all earned berths on the 11-player all-tournament team. No. 3 national seed and tournament host Florida State also placed four players on the all-tournament team announced Sunday night after the Seminoles topped Samford 5-2 in the regional championship game. FSU outfielder James Ramsey was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player

The Bulldogs went 1-2 in the tournament, concluding the 2012 campaign with a 40-24 record, the program's 18th 40-win season overall and first since 2005
