STARKVILLE, Miss. - General admission ticket holders will be admitted to the chairback grandstand portion of Dudy Noble Field for Thursday night's nationally-televised Mississippi State-Tennessee baseball game. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. and the game will be televised as part of the ESPNU/SEC Game of the Week series. The evening will be capped with a postgame fireworks display.
Season ticket patrons retain first priority on game day for their reserved chairback seats, but those holding general admission tickets as well as MSU students will be admitted to the grandstand for seating in seats not occupied by holders of season tickets.
MSU officials have designated the Thursday game as "white-out" night at Dudy Noble Field, encouraging all Mississippi State fans to wear white to the televised game.
The contest kicks off State's annual spring homecoming celebration, Super Bulldog Weekend presented by Regions Bank. The Mississippi State-Kentucky softball series, alumni soccer and volleyball matches, Saturday's Maroon-White spring football game followed by the Sugarland concert highlight a heavy slate of Bulldog sporting events on campus this weekend. In addition, Mississippi State hosts the 2012 SEC Men's Tennis Championships at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre Apr. 19-22.
