Starkville, Miss. -  Former Bulldog All-American defensive tackle Fletcher Cox will participate in the 13th Annual All-Star Football Challenge during Super Bowl Week. The event will be televised on ESPN2 on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. CT, just hours before Super Bowl XLVI.

During his All-American campaign of 2011, Cox tallied 56 total tackles, including 14.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. He was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week a school-record four times in one season.

The All-Star Football challenge allows college football's brightest stars to compete in a series of high-energy skills competitions that will put their individual talents on display before they are selected in the NFL Draft.

The 13-year long program takes place in the Super Bowl city every year and has played host to 41 first-round draft picks. Past participants include Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Santana Moss, Vince Young, Vernon Davis, Donovan McNabb, Edgerrin James, and many others.
