Five VB Bulldogs Named To SEC Academic Honor Roll

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State placed five volleyball players on the 2011 Fall Academic Honor Roll announced this week by the Southeastern Conference.

Middle blocker Caitlin Rance (Kingwood, Texas) and outside hitter Faith Steinwedell (La Jolla, Calif.), earned head up MSU volleyball's academic all-conference honorees, earning their SEC Academic Honor Roll plaudits for the fourth time. Juniors Chanelle Baker (Carrollton, Texas) and Hillary Parker (College Station, Texas), were honored for the third time while sophomore setter Paris Perret (Frisco, Texas) joined the honor group for the second time.

The SEC will announce the First-Year Player Academic Honor Roll this summer.
