STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State senior middle blocker Hannah Wilkinson has been named to the 2011 Southeastern Conference Volleyball Community Service Team, the league office announced Tuesday.

Wilkinson, from Elk Point, S.D., has been active in community service projects throughout her two-year career with the Volleyball Bulldogs.

In the past year she has assisted with "Bully's Book Blitz", working to improve the reading skills with local youth and with the Champions Breakfast at Starkville's Sudduth Elementary School. Wilkinson also served as a volunteer with the reading program at Starkville Academy, volunteered her services with the ICS Headstart Program in Starkville, worked with the Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive in Starkville and assisted new MSU students and their families with moving and relocation needs during MSU's "Moving You to MSU" campaign.

Wilkinson is also active as a youth programs and adult women leader in the LDS Church in West Point.

The educational psychology major enjoyed a career-best senior season in 2011. She started 25 of MSU's 29 matches, tallying 154 kills and finishing second on the team with 87 blocks.
