STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Mississippi State athletic ticket office announced that it has ceased taking orders for the 2007 AutoZone Liberty Bowl. MSU received its final allotment of tickets Friday and exhausted that supply by the close of the business day, which ended the priority order period.
The MSU athletic ticket office has sold in excess of 30,000 tickets for the Liberty Bowl.
“We appreciate the outstanding statement that the Bulldog Family has made, not only to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, but to the entire bowl community,” Director of Athletics Larry Templeton said. “The enthusiasm of our fans played a large role in the way our team was able to finish the regular season and we now look forward to coloring the city of Memphis maroon on Dec. 29.”
Mississippi State will play the University of Central Florida, Saturday, Dec. 29, at 3:30 p.m. CT in Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis. The game will be televised live by ESPN.
