BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – After wins on day three of the 2013 USTA Players’ Choice Open Sunday, Mississippi State men’s tennis senior Malte Stropp and sophomore Jordan Angus have advanced to the final round of qualifying play.

Stropp faced off against Carl Abalos on Sunday, picking up a 6-3, 6-2 victory to move to the final round, where he will face David O’Leary of Memphis for a chance to advance to main draw play.
