Players will experience a fun-filled evening with the Players at one of Jacksonville's newest and most popular entertainment venues. In addition to a great menu of food favorites, players will enjoy such great activities as bowling, billiards and the latest arcade games - not to mention big screen T.V's and music galore. Latitude 30 is an experience that has something for everyone! Fans with "THE PATCH" can enjoy the benefits and join the fun! (NO additional PATCHES can be purchased on the day of the event).

Coaches and players from both participating teams in the Gator Bowl will join the Jacksonville business community and local youth for a time of fellowship and devotion. Coaches and athletes will share testimonials of how Christianity is a part of their life, both on and off the field.

Michael Dean Chadwick will be the key note speaker. Chadwick is the father-in-law and mentor of Major League Baseball player Josh Hamilton. For nearly a decade Chadwick, who battled drug addiction early in his life, has mentored Hamilton from substance-abuse addictions through his incredible rise to prominence in the game of baseball.

Having been heard by millions of people through a radio broadcast with Focus on the Family, Michael's Dean Chadwick's personal testimony of his life experiences and personal struggles will impact you for life, encourage your heart and give you perspective on what truly matters.

VyStar 5k Run

If running or walking is your thing, the Gator Bowl VyStar 5K Run is for you. This is an annual New Year's Eve event that draws thousands of local and national participants. The VyStar 5K Run is held downtown starting at the Jacksonville Landing. The course runs through downtown and along Jacksonville's scenic Riverwalk.

Run for a Child in the Gator Bowl VyStar 5K Run

Participants in the Gator Bowl VyStar 5K Run can make a $10 donation to Wolfson Children's Hospital and receive a red arm band bearing the name of a child who is a patient. Once donors cross the finish line of the 5K Run, each will take pride knowing that every step they ran helped toward raising funds to care for sick and injured children.
