State Level Loge Seats Sold Out
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Davis Wade Stadium’s $75 million expansion is still 283 days from opening its doors, but the excitement continues to build for the stadium’s 100-year anniversary next August. All 236 Loge seats in the new north endzone are now sold out, the Bulldog Club announced Thursday morning. Last summer it was announced that all 22 new State Level skyboxes had been sold out, meaning that inventory in two of Davis Wade’s newest premium areas are now exhausted.
"It’s exciting to see our Bulldog Club donors sell out another area of Davis Wade Stadium," Mike Richey, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Bulldog Club & Ticket Operations, said. "Already having two premium areas of our north end zone sold out for next season only adds to the anticipation for Davis Wade Stadium’s 100 year anniversary in 2014."
The north endzone expansion, which will take stadium capacity from 55,000 to 61,337, is aimed at offering more Bulldog fans the opportunity to experience game day in Starkville, in addition to adding new premium seating options. Construction is expected to be completed in time for the 2014 home opener against Southern Miss.
The sold out State Level Loge seats, which were offered in packages of four, six or eight seats, will be located between the 22 skyboxes that are nestled above the lower bowl and below the Scoreboard Club in the new end zone.
Individuals looking for premium opportunities in the north endzone expansion still have options available. The Scoreboard Club, located above the State Level and below the new north video board, will have chair-back seating for over 1,100 fans and will provide a climate controlled lounge outfitted with food, beverage, locker service, high definition televisions and private restrooms. Additionally, having tickets to sit in the Scoreboard Club also gives Bulldog Club donors the opportunity to roam the end zone’s new Scoreboard Terrace which flanks both sides of the Scoreboard Club.
The Gridiron, which will offer the most dynamic environment in college football, will be located at field level of the newly expanded end zone. This field level club will serve as a premium area that opens two hours prior to kickoff and will be available to pass holders until the final whistle sounds. Fans will have access to an indoor climate controlled lounge, food, beverage, locker service, high-definition televisions and private restrooms. Additionally, Gridiron pass holders can also access the Gridiron Terrace, which will be located directly behind the north end-zone of Scott Field, and patrons will have the opportunity to watch pre-game warm ups, hard-hitting action and game winning touchdowns.
