High School:
Played volleyball four seasons at San Antonio's Roosevelt High School • Coached by Rodney Vigil • Two-year varsity starter used primarily as a right side and outside hitter • Team captain who paced the 2011 Rough Riders with 428 kills en route to earning all-district honors as a senior • Also tallied 396 digs, 37 service aces and 23 total blocks • Two-time academic all-district honoree • Finished her junior campaign in 2010 with 280 kills, 268 digs, 24 aces and 15 blocks •  Played club volleyball for two years in San Antonio with Superior Sports, coached by Sara Rangel-Mendez.
