STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State Athletics and its wireless partner Cellular South are proud to announce the launch of the official Mississippi State Athletics Android application.

Together, Mississippi State Athletics and NeuLion (TSX:NLN), the true end-to-end technology service provider for delivering live and on-demand content to any internet-enabled device, collaborated to develop the custom Bulldog application. This Android application is the latest addition to the suite of mobile offerings available for Bulldog fans around the world.

Fans have the ability to choose from MSU's iPhone App, the mobile device enabled version of mstateathletics.com (available on any device), and now the Android app. Both the iPhone and the Android application provide a robust and unique way to consume Mississippi State Athletics content including latest news, schedules and results, scores, rosters, photos, live stats and more! Fans also have the ability to upgrade to the Premium version ($4.99) to watch on-demand video and listen to live audio from Maroon to the Max.

Nielson, a market research firm, announced in March that Android has taken over the top spot as the most popular operating system among smartphones in the United States. With Google's Android platform continuing its strong momentum of growth, the new official MSU Athletics Android application will allow more and more fans to stay connected to the Bulldog program anytime, anywhere.

Fans can click here for more information on the complete suite of mobile offerings for Bulldog fans or can click here to learn more about the Android application specifically. Looking ahead, Mississippi State Athletics will continue to strive to be a leader in the mobile and tablet space, and is working towards offering an iPad application soon.
