Spring 2012 (Sophomore): Following an off-season injury Perper jumped right into a primary role in the spring, leading the Lady Bulldogs from the No. 1 position over the majority of the season...Posted 11 singles victories including SEC wins against Auburn and Arkansas...Ranked at No. 91 by the ITA at the peak of the season...Perper is prepared to take her leadership to another level as the Lady Bulldogs enter the fall campaign.

Fall 2011 (Sophomore): Unfortunately, Perper suffered an injury before the fall season began, hindering her from participating in the off-season play...Perper has high hopes for a speedy recovery and looks forward to rejoining the Lady Bulldogs for the spring campaign.

Fall 2010-11 (Freshman): Due to injury, Alexandra Perper did not participate in the 2010 fall season, however, during the spring season Perper notched conference victories over Kentucky, Auburn, and a 0-6, 6-3, 7-5 come from behind win over #52 ranked Whitney Wolf of LSU...Perper gained a lot of doubles experience over her freshman spring season, competing in 15 matches and executing victories over Troy, Southern Miss, and Louisiana-Monroe...Alexandra is anxious to begin preparing for the 2011-12 season.

Pre-MSU: This freshman comes to Mississippi State by way of Chisinau, Moldova... Ranked among the top players of Moldova where she competed in the 2010 Fed Cup with the Moldovian National team... Fought her way to the final ranks of the ITF Juniors Tournaments in the 5^th and 3^rd categories... Hopes to make an early impact for the Lady Bulldogs.

Personal: Born July 29, 1991, Alexandra Perper is the daughter of Mihail Perper and Elena Berdes of Chisinau, Moldova... She attended the ORT Technology Lyceum in Chisinau before finding her way to Starkville... Perper's favorite professional tennis players are Roger Federer and Serena Williams.
