2010:

Played in 38 games and earned his first varsity letter as a true freshman, starting 17 games as a catcher and 15 as the designated hitter • Hit .310 with 36 hits and 20 RBI in 32 games • Played error-free defense in 143 chances behind the dish • Opening day starting catcher against North Florida (Feb. 22) • Registered his first career hit in his seasonal debut against UNF • Registered nine multi-hit games, including a season-best 3-for-4 plate performance against UAB (Feb. 26) • Opened the year with a five-game hitting streak and fashioned a six-game streak in mid-March that included four consecutive two-hit games • Went 4-for-8 with a single, a double, a triple, a home run and seven RBI in two-game set against Mississippi Valley State (Mar. 11-12) • Followed that with a 5-for-10 three-game series against Ole Miss (Mar. 14-16) • Plated a season-high four runs with his first career home run, a grand slam, against MVSU (Mar. 11) • Also launched a solo blast against Ole Miss (Mar. 15) • Sustained a knee injury in the Georgia series (Mar. 28-30) • Missed nine games, then returned to the lineup as a DH • Sidelined for final five games of season with shoulder injury • Hit .266 in 19 games (18 starts) against SEC foes • Team-best .406 hitter in games at Dudy Noble Field • One of four true freshmen to play for the Bulldogs in 2008.
